One thing the listing does not say about the price
The Nintendo listing shows a discounted price and a sale end time, but it does not state whether that discount is a general sale price or a member-only price. We are not going to choose between those two readings on the store's behalf, so treat the $16.99 figure as the price the listing showed, from a discount whose qualifying condition the listing leaves unstated.
For contrast, the other storefronts word their offers differently, and each page states its own wording: Steam labels its −15% an introductory offer ending October 6 on the Steam page, and the PlayStation listing attaches its 15% to PlayStation Plus on the PS5 page. Three stores, three different ways of describing a discount of roughly the same size.
The demo is available on the Nintendo listing too
The Nintendo listing carries its own Download demo button, so Switch owners can try the game without buying it. That is the same trial that exists as a separate app on Steam and as a separate product on the PlayStation Store — how much of the game it covers, and the one thing about it that is still unconfirmed, are on the demo page.
What is on this purchase, and what is not
- One digital copy of the Nintendo Switch version, with the file size above.
- The native Switch 2 build is delivered to this same purchase — it is not a second product on this store. Nintendo's listing keeps a single product row and the developer has said the Switch 2 build arrives as a patch; the four enhancements Nintendo lists underneath that row, the file size on Switch 2, and the 720p question all belong to the Switch 2 page.
- Switch 2 compatibility is listed as "Supported — Game behavior is consistent with Nintendo Switch." That sentence is Nintendo's own wording, and it describes how the Switch 1 build behaves on Switch 2 hardware rather than what the native Switch 2 build adds.
Languages on the Nintendo listing
The Nintendo listing counts 9 languages, against the 10 that Steam lists for the same game. We have not found a first-party explanation for the difference, so we report both counts on the store that published them rather than reconciling them. The Steam table, including the point that none of its ten languages has full audio, is on the Steam page.
Play modes and the single-player framing
Nintendo's three play modes are the standard Switch set — TV, Tabletop and Handheld — with single system (1) player. There is no local wireless or online multiplayer row on the listing, which is consistent with the Steam feature list on the Steam page: single-player, no co-op, no multiplayer.
Checked 2026-09-24 against the Nintendo Store (US) listing. The sale end time, the price and the file size are the values that listing carried on that date; a price change or a store update moves this page.
