This policy describes what welldweller.guru does with data when you visit. It is written to match how the site is actually built, not to cover features we do not have.

What the site is
welldweller.guru is a static website: the pages you read are pre-built files served to your browser. There is no application database behind them, no user session and no account system. We do not ask for your name, email address, postal address or payment details, and there is no field on this site to enter them.
No accounts. We do not offer registration, login, comments, saves, favourites or anything else that would create a record tied to you.
No forms. There is no contact form, newsletter signup or other input that submits data anywhere. Corrections, rights questions and privacy questions reach us by email instead; the contact page sets out what to send and what we can and cannot fix.
No functional cookies of our own. We do not use cookies to remember preferences, and we do not use local storage to keep site state.
Contact email
Mail sent to contact@welldweller.guru is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing — the email forwarding feature of our domain's provider — to the mailbox our editors actually read. Checked 2026-09-25. That is the only address this site publishes; the forwarding is configured for that exact address, and the domain's catch-all is off, so mail sent to any other address at welldweller.guru is not forwarded to us. The contact page explains what to send and what we can and cannot fix.
We use the address only to receive and answer the messages described on the contact page. It is not used for newsletters, marketing or any kind of mailing list, and senders are not added to one.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MB24YLX7VM) to collect aggregate statistics: which pages are viewed, roughly where visits come from, what kind of device and browser is used, and how visitors arrived. It tells us which pages are worth keeping current — for a guide whose facts carry dates, knowing which pages people actually read is the difference between maintenance and guessing.
Google Analytics sets its own cookie identifiers in your browser — commonly _ga and _ga_<container-id> — and processes the resulting data on Google's own infrastructure. Google is our analytics provider, and its handling of that data is described in Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We look at traffic in aggregate only. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, we do not combine it with other data to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it.
Your choice about analytics
Audience measurement is optional here and stays off until you allow it. A consent panel is shown on your first visit, and no Google Analytics script is requested before you make that choice. You can change or withdraw the choice at any time from the privacy panel linked in the footer of every page.

Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files by a hosting provider. Like any web host, that provider may record standard technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — as part of normal operation, security and abuse prevention. We do not assemble that into visitor profiles, and we have no per-visitor history to look at.
Outbound links
Pages here link out to first-party and reference sources: the Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox listings, GOG, Metacritic, OpenCritic, the developer's Discord and YouTube channel, plus the community threads and video reviews that specific pages cite. Once you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy and terms apply, not ours; we do not control what those sites collect.
We do not use affiliate links and we are not paid for the outbound links on our pages.
Children
This site is a reference guide to a video game rated Teen by the ESRB. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect personal information at all through the site itself.
Changes to this policy
If the data we handle changes — a different analytics provider, an advertising network, a contact form — this page changes first and its date moves. The date at the top is the date this policy was last checked against how the site is actually built.
